Project Description and Responsibility
David Mann through DMC Projects was appointed to provide Development and Project Management services to the TC Beirne Building project as part of its ongoing investment and management of the project with Ashe Morgan.
The rejuvenation of the TC Beirne Building being a State listed Heritage Building containing 15,000m2 of NLA has been ongoing and focusses on returning the fabric of this important structure to a multi purpose mixed use asset. This has involved the leasing of 8,000m2 to the State Government for their innovation precinct along with he other private sector pre-commitments achieved in taking the building to a majority leased status.
The retail refurbishment sees the integration of food and beverage tenancies along with complimentary service providers. The DMC Projects team provided a complete development and project management function for the refurbishment in delivering the base building works, integrated tenant works and State Government sub tenant fit outs.
Refurbishments were undertaken in conjunction with new leasing deals for the Car Park and commercial building tenancies adjoining the car park structure.
The adjacent China Town Carpark on Duncan Street of 475 Carparks and 5,000m2 of retail and commercial office space was refurbished and then divested from the portfolio by the joint venture in 2017.
