Project Description and Responsibility

David Mann through DMC Projects was commissioned to provide Project Management services in relation to the development of a large residential apartment complex in South Brisbane. The project known as Ivy and Eve on Merivale Street contains 468 – 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments in a prime location with expansive views over the Brisbane CBD skyline.

The role as Project Manager and contract superintendent for the joint venture consortium required DMC Projects to monitor the principal contractor Hutchinson Builders in their delivery of the construction.

The project included the excavation of a 5 level basement and 30 stories of apartments incorporating a 5 story podium. DMC Projects was commissioned from the commencement of the project to negotiate the contract, finalise documentation, monitor construction activities on site and ensure the programme and budget was adhered to.
